The Surrey Langley SkyTrain Business Case Summary lays out the need for this important project and its benefits.
To meet the needs of our growing region, 104 Avenue, King George Boulevard, and Fraser Highway have been identified as key corridors south of the Fraser in need of rapid transit to support municipal development.
SkyTrain is a fast, frequent and convenient mode of rapid transit that has served Metro Vancouver for more than 30 years. With over 80 kilometres of track on three different lines – Millennium, Expo and Canada – SkyTrain traverses the region connecting friends and families with places of work, study and entertainment.
The 16-kilometre Surrey Langley SkyTrain will extend from Surrey's King George Station along Fraser Highway to 203 Street in the City of Langley.
